Either your Netview web server is already started, but I assume that's not
the case since you are trying to start it =) or you have another web-server
running, a regular apache or something.
If you issue the command netstat -a you should see something using port 80
(www)
Find out what this is and get rid of it (unless you want it running that is)
then there should be no problem starting the Netview web server after that.

Subject: port 80 in use..
Hello All.
I have the following config:
AIX 4.2.1, Netview 5.1.1, Nways Mgr V2.0, Netscape for AIX V4.6.1.
When I try to do a "nvwebstart" I get the follwing error message:
bind: Address already in use.
httpd: could not bind to port 80.
Within /etc/services port 80 (both TCP and UDP) are assigned to "www".
Has anyone ever seen this before?
Any info appreciated.
