nvlockd daemon

Im running netview 5.1.1 on solaris 2.6
I have just noticed that the nvlockd daemon is not running.I dont know how
long its been down for but ovstatus shows its well behaved and not running.
The server is functioning ok but I cant seen to restart the daemon?
Any ideas?
