Benoit, are you sure you were able to make a good backup of that node?
Tell us more about what is going on here. Is it the Netview managed node
you are having this problem on? Is your Tivoli environment set? Is Netview
on a TMR server, or a managed node. (or is this a Tivoli-only question -
in which case you may be better off on the Tivoli listserver).
I sometimes have a problem making a tivoli backup if I have made a certain
error during the install of that managed node. If I have setup the .kshrc
file
to reset the path BEFORE the tivoli install, then there are hidden problems
with
the install which only seem to affect wbkupdb. So I always check to make
sure
I can do the backup before I go on with the Netview install. That is the
only
problem I am aware of.

Subject: wbkupdb
Hi,
When I try to restore a database with the wbkupdb, I always get the
following message:
"Restoring some of the managed nodes failed for the following reasons:
-> *no format string*
Backup Failed."
What's wrong?
How can I restore my database?
Thanks
Benoit.
