Hi Menghis,
it does work on solaris 2.6 running netview 5.1.1.
I had alot of trouble getting this going,I used a different initialisation
string on newhayes.modem and it worked.
I noticed you are using a hayes compatible modem too.If you like you can
save your file and try the one im using.
Youll have to do an ovstop nvpagerd ,ovstart nvpagerd I think.
Good luck.

Subject: Re: node down ruleset not paging
Hello,
I don't have an answer to your question, rather, I have a question that
relates. I am also running solaris 2.6 but only have Netview 5.1.1 Could you
or anyone please tell me if nvpage has problems with 5.1.1. I am able to
make a call using my modem using the tip command but I cannot make a call
using nvpage on the command line. I have opened a ticket with Tivoli, but I
have not gotten a resolution yet.
When I trace using nvpagerd -d, the nvpagerd.alog file gives me the output
that I have attached as a file.
Thanks,
Menghis
