If Locate won't find it by objcet id, have you tried ovtopofix -U to force all
objects in topology back on the map. Of course this won't happen until the
read-write map is brought up and synchronized.

Tivoli TME 10 Netview for AIX 5.1.1
 AIX 4.3.2

I have problem with a 8271-F12 IBM Nways Switch.

His address is 131.108.1.197 with Mask 255.255.255.0

I can't find it in any maps but it is in database.

   ovtopodump command answers like this:

           33342/33337 h8271_eth.burgo Up 131.108.1.197
   and ovtopofix answers like this:

h8271_eth (33342) -- not in any maps, updating times.
h8271_eth:IBM Nways (33337) -- not in any maps, updating times.
        Updating h8271_eth (objid = 33342)

but I still can't find it.

 Any suggestion ?

Thank you very much
