You are just about guaranteed to get this if your paging space is less
than double your physical memory. If you have 1GB memory or more,
you don't need to double it, but it must be equal or greater than the
memory. This is in the Install guide and/or the release notes.

This "sudden death" has already happened to me some times. That
happened to me when the Netview server was running out of swap
space.
So, check out the size of your swap space, and increase it if
necessary. If you are using AIX do the following:
- Open two shell windows
- on the first type netview
- on the second type "lsps -a" in a regular basis. Until the netview
goes down.
With this simple test you will be able to see if you are running out of
swap space.
