John, you really want to call support when something serious happens.
The first thing I would check for is a shortage of disk space in /usr,
or /usr/OV if that is a separate filesystem. Then I would go looking
for my latest backup of the map database. Check the nettl logs for
more clues to the cause of the problem.

Netview crashed this afternoon. After I restarted the down daemons, I
tried to start the EUI and got this message:
Error retrieving mapdb field info: Null field value
How can I fix this problem?
