If you have Cisco devices and you want to integrate it with NetView, then
you are better of going with SUN. One of the reason is that "Cisco work"
main platform is either SUN or NT. This means every new release they come
out it will be SUN or NT first. AIX releases comes out probably after 90
days or so. The current release of Cisco works for AIX has only Essentials
and Campus manager of Cisco works. But for the SUN and NT release they have
configuration manager, which is a plus.

Thanks for your response Desai,

I do not have to many informations about the customers environment. All I
know
is that most of the router and swiches are Cisco and that there are about
500
devices to handle. We think not to use more than 3 Netview clients and to
use
local maps. So I think SP2 would be a bit oversized ;=).
As a 10/+-Application Cisco Works should be integrated.

In case you should have more detailed information for a situation like this,
please let me know.
