I can't quite visualize what you are asking here, Larry, so let's just step back
and think about it. Things get put into a location defined in location.conf
when they are first discovered. So if they aren't where you want them now, then
you have to build the location.conf to reflect the way you want the map, and
then you have to re-discover all the objects you want to be put into the
location automatically by netmon/ipmap. The only way and object can be
re-discovered is for it to be deleted from the databases first. You can do that
from the GUI individually, but if there are major changes you want to make, then
it may be easier to just clear the databases and start over. You will have to
decide that. But fundamentally, things must somehow be deleted before they can
be re-discoverd.

Netview for NT v6

Is there any way to add a new section to the location.conf file
and then have Netview include the newly added section to the IP Internet map
without having to do 'Clear Databases'?

Thanks for any help.
