I know that in the standalone version - Netscout Manager - you set the trap
destination via the NSM Admin window, click Set Trap Detinations icon and you
are brought to a dialog box which allows you to specify up to 4 NSM address...to
edit the alarms for trap generation, use the Property Editor to add/modify
alarms. The Edit Trap dialog box enables you to set/change threshold values, or
even the script or batch file to execute when the trap occurs....it's all in the
manual....

Hello All.

Does anyone have Cisco's Traffic Director configured to send traps to
NetView when it detects certain RMON threshold crossed?

Aparently, it can be done.

Any info appreciated.

Sincerely,

Gord Michaels
