Bring up your ruleset in the ruleset editor again and click on the Event
Stream
(the "purple pizza") and see whether it set to BLOCK or to PASS. If PASS
all
events will be forwarded unless you specifically block them later. I'll bet
that's it. You should set the Event Stream to BLOCK in this case so that
nothing gets through unless you Forward it.

Subject: [NV-L] Rule set
Hello Everybody,
I am trying to create a rule set for forwarding only specific events
from NetView to T/EC. Problem is that it still forwards all of events from
NetView. I would like to know that what node operator I should use in rule
set editor so that I can develop a logic that forward only these events. The
way I have created rule set right now is
Event Stream --->-Trap Setting--->-Forward
---->Trap Setting--->Forward
Trap setting nodes for all of events that I want to forward to T/EC.
Thanks in advance
