of "Tivoli NetView 6.0 for UNIX for Operators" training.
This course teaches you the skills needed to monitor a
network using Tivoli NetView 6.0 for UNIX. You will
learn how to navigate the NetView windows using both
the traditional and web interfaces, locate objects, and
display object information. You will also learn to use
the Events workspace to view events and to use an
existing filter to view those events that meet specific
criteria. Additionally, you will learn to use MIB
tools to monitor system and network performance.
Note that this course is not only suitable for NetView
Operators, but also meets the preprequisites for "Tivoli
NetView 6.0 for UNIX for Administrators" training.
This class is 50% hands-on exercises and each student
who attends will be provided with a Student Resource CD
containing Redbooks, NetView documentation, and web
pages with links to NetView-related sites.
