You cannot start the GUI on the actual Sun box where it is installed but it
works fine over Exceed?
That's a new one!
Do you have any messages in the nv6000.log which indicate what might be
wrong?
Can you telnet into the Sun box and get that to work?
Are you using the same userid in all cases?
>From a command window in Exceed, type in "ulimit -a" and do the same from
the
window you use to launch the GUI on the NetView server. Do you get the
same
result?

Hello,
we have a problem with an installation of NetView 6.0 on Sun Solaris 2.7.
The remote start of NetView over Exeed is ok.
If you start NetView on the local X-Server the ovw died with signal 1
before it wants
to load the map.
Can anybody helps us?
