I had a similar problem and my vendor (Andy Brauer) suggested that in my
snmpconf I specify a 'Node down Delete interval' of 10m on that specific
node. It worked for me, however my circumstances were slightly different.

I have a problem using NetView 6.0 for AIX.
When discoverying a router with 35 interfaces, NetView polls it and after
the router is discovered, NetView deletes it.
Any suggest for this problem?
