I think this might risk masking a problem. Things that are in the User
Plane,
whether shadowed or not, are things that are not managed by ipmap.

I suspect that ipmap is failing, or running very slowly. Often, when the
box is overloaded, if you create a new location icon, for example,
the icon will be shadowed for a while until synchronization completes,
and then the shadow goes away on its own. You can check the
shadowed object with Edit and see if ipmap is in the list of things you
can modify for that object. If not, it is not under the control of ipmap.

I would check to see that there is an ipmap process running for that
ovw, and I would look at the nettl log (netfmt -F -f nettl.LOGxx) for
errors like ipmap bailout.

And I would get the e-fix for apar IY10063 which replaces the ovw_binary
and a library. Call Support for that. I've been using it with great
success,
but had a number of problems without it.

Jordi,

When in your destination submap, do the following:

View -> User Plane -> For this Submap -> Shadow Off

Should do the trick......
