I've never used a system with a second console, so maybe this is
no help, but do you know that you can start the events display from the
commandline? Only one will run per ovw, but if you close the main one
and go to your second window, and run 'nvevents', wouldn't that
launch the events display in that window?

Hi,
Another question. If I start a control desk manually, is there a
a way to tell him to use a different DISPLAY. I mean: I have a
workstation with a dual screen. The X server sees the displays
as localhost:0.0 and localhost:0.1. And there is no way to drag
one window from one to the other. My dream would have been to have
the map on one screen, and the event window (or control desk) on
the other one.
Impossible, I guess?
