Subject: | High CPU snmp usage on Cisco 7500 |

Environment: Aix 4.2.1 Netview 5.1.1 43p_dual processor 576 Mbytes RAM I think this was mentioned here before, but here it goes again. When secondary addresses discovery (HSRP) is enable, our Cisco 7500 routers CPU goes up to the roof. Snmp uses al least 50% of the routers' process running time. On version 6.0 (test server) the same thing happens. Is there a way to alleviate this problem? Thanks for any info. .
