You are right. I had not noticed that before. It's not documented on
AIX either.Maybe the group business is all there is? And maybe its not..
I would call Support for an explanation (share it with us, OK?) so
they can open a documentation apar. (I did not see it listed on things
fixed in 6.0.1).
I think you that you can only AND the selectrules, per the man page:
"Multiple SELECTRULE statements are combined using a combinatorial
AND boolean logic."
But you can AND as many negatives as you want. So IP Status of Marginal
or Critical would be achieved with NOTS of all of the other states.

Subject: [NV-L] nvdbformat command (language documentation).
Is there any documentation for the nvdbformat command
other than the readme file?
I would like to know what other keyword/commands are avaiable,
that don't seem to be documented.
For example, I see the "interface" example in \usr\OV\databases\templates
has a "GROUPHEADER" command, but I don't see this listed anywhere.
e.g. GROUPHEADER:<A NAME="${GROUPNAME}">
Where do I find out about things like this.
Plus, I'd like to combine the selection-rules such as
"SELECTRULE:IP Status~Crititcal" with the IP Status of Marginal,
but I don't see any example of ORing selection-rules (although
its stated it can be done).
Any help with this scripting "language" would be appreciated.
Thanks.
