Chance, your seedfile is only rules. These rules only control
what Netview will do on the off-chance that it hears from some device
on your network. Rules like those, and address ranges, are treated
as filters, not as seeds. So to force discovery, you need to put
a few good devices in there. Pick a few routers around the network,
all with snmp enabled, and try it again.

Subject: [NV-L] Netview is not Discovering objects
I am using Netview v6 on AIX 4
I have setup a location.conf file with all of my sites. That has worked
fine. All sites are in the correct location. Now I have setup a seedfile
and
netmon is reading the seedfile without any errors. At least there aren't
any
in the netmon.trace file. However, there aren't any devices being
discovered.
I have included a copy of my seedfile. Does anyone have any ideas??

---------End Seedfile-------------
