No, there is not. First of all, UNMANAGE is not a status, so you cannot set it
with the status trap, and second, no operations can be performed on a read-only
map. It is a slave copy of the read-write map. You would have to write a C/C++
application using the APIs documented in the Prgammer's Guide and Programmer's
Reference to do what you want, and even then that application would have to open
the map read-write with an OVwInit.

Subject: [NV-L] Unmanaged Objects
Hello list;
We run Netview 6.0 on AIX 4.3.2.
We want to write an application that enables a user to do UNMANAGE to
specific nodes
(answer to certain rules) from a menu in a read only map.
I tried doing it by writing a program that sends the trap which its
specific is : 58916871
but without any success.
Is there any way that I can do that ?
Thank you
Orit
