Which status is incorrect, the IP interface or the service icon? If it is
the service
icon, perhaps nvsniffer has not been configured to run frequently enough to
set
status on a realtime basis. If it is IP, perhaps it is the usual,
occasional problem
where collmap gets hosed. If this were unix, I would say delete the egg for
the
smartset and it will get recreated, hopefully with accurate status. Are you
on 6.01?

Subject: [NV-L] SmartSets Display Wrong Information

Hello all,

During the NetView installation on NT, a few SmartSets were automatically
created. Has anyone ran across the problem where these system created
smartsets
are incorrect? For example, Lotus Notes Servers, are showing down, when
there
interfaces and services are up and running. Thoughts/Comments would be
appreciated.
