Do you know of the Tivoli / IBM Comprehensive Network Address Translation
(CNAT) offering?  There is a small amount of info if you check the Tivoli
Networking products web site.

My understanding is that it can either do NAT for you or can co-exist with an
existing NAT solution.  Better than standard NAT, it not only translates IP
headers, it can also translate payload on ping and SNMP packets so you can use
your NetView through a CNAT firewall and all your SNMP GETs get their
information translated too.  You seem to be able to choose which MIBs you load
into your CNAT.  There is also an add-on to NetView for CNAT so you can control
your CNAT box(es) from NetView.
