The error means that someone is trying to do SNMP gets or sets using the
wrong community name. Look at the event card to get more information.
The first thing to do is to make sure that it is not NetView. run
xnmsnmpconf and see what community name you have for this box. It is
probably the global default, "public". Then go to the box that that the
trap is about and check the community name in its SNMP configuration. on
AIX that is in /etc/snmp.conf for example.
When you determine what the community name is or should be on that box,
then make NetView use the same one.
