seting oid to type with W option

Running 6.01 on Sol 2.7

I have APC devices which support a WEB interface.   I have modified the
oid-to-type file using vi editor to add the W to all our APC

I have 1 map running and have deleted all the APC nodes, did a ovtopofix
-a on database then did a loadhost on all my APC devices.   Also did a
netview -fields.    They all show up but I never get the new fields in
DB for the APC devices.

Any ideas???
