All, Does nmdemandpoll do some kind of dns lookup when it start it's routine? I'm getting "Node not found, demand poll skipped" error against newly re-created nodes in the database. These devices responded before and nodes in other sites respond just fine. The search order is dns, files and all the new nodes are in /etc/hosts. The SNMP config is also correctly setup with the node names, which equal the object Selection Names. I'm stumped. Any insights are appreciated. Regards, Steve Elliott Sr. Network Mgmt.
