Hi Carlos,
if you collect MIB variables of type COUNTER with data collections in
NetView, you get rate of changes, not absolute values. That means, the
values of two consecutive queries are subtracted and divided by the time
interval between the two queries.

Hello all
I'm collecting a MIB variable which shows me the number of frames that have
entered on a given interface of a switch.
But my question is: why do I keep getting values lower than 1 on my data
collection, when I know this number should be an integer (and far greater
than 1).
When I query this variable using the MIB browser, and subtract the values
of two consecutive queries, I get the values I expect.
How can I do the same using the data collection feature ?
I've been verifying the same problem with many other variables I try to
collect.
Any tips ?
