We are just starting a project to evaluate using Netview on OS/390
to manage our IP resources or to implement & use Net view 6.02 ( Platform
uncertain, possibly NT, maybe, maybe AIX) . Among the goals for this will
be to have the operators assume more control over the IP resources ( similar
to their current control of the SNA resources), and passing critical network
events to TEC.
Any thoughts on facilities that might be available one way or the other,
complementary nature or overlap of the products, etc. would be appreciated.
