You put just the daemon executable on top of your 6.0 system?  That's not
what I had in mind.  NetView maintenance is produced as a unit, out of a
single build, and newer executables will often not runon old systems.  What
I had in mind was that you install all of 6.0.1 off the CD.  Takes about 15
-20 minutes.

If that doesn't work, do you get any error messages when you try to run it
from the command line stand-alone?

I have no other hints for diagnosing this.  I saw the thing run here.  I
started it and the configurator myself in the Verification lab during 6.0.1
testing, so I have seen it work.  Worked fine for me.  NT is not my
platform of choice, so unfortunately I have no other pieces of advice to
offer.  If you cannot get it to run, I would suggest a call to Support.

Took your advice James and put the tecad_nv6k exe on from 6.0.1 and it did
not start, reverted back to the old exe, but to no avail.  When i atempt to
start it produces no error and status say NOT_RUNNING.  Any advice on where
to look for further indications of the issue.  Thanks in advance.
