Automatic RULESET activation ?

I have set up a ruleset to be activated automatically by putting in the
/conf/ESE.automation file, as documented in the Admin guide pg 195.

The ruleset fires an ACTION which calls an AWK script.

I want to modify my AWK script     not the RULESET.
If I change the file that the ACTION calls, will it automatically use
the new file or do I have to restart Netview?
