Line commands only work on the server. That is all they are designed to
do. The client has no database of its own, so they fail there. The GUI is
sending the information back to the server and the command is executed
there. If you don't want to use the GUI, then you must do what the client
does under the covers -- send you command back to the server for
execution. The client afterall is just a remote GUI.

I would like to set the 'isImportantNode' field in NetView 6.02 for NT of a
node
by using the command line. On the server itself, is works by writing the
nodes
in a text file and use the nvdbimport command. But this does not work on a
NetView client, although it is possible to change the value of this filed
using
the GUI.
Can anybody help?
