Scott,
In earlier (buggy) version of NV6.0 you had to stop netmon and run
ovtopofix.
This is no longer required.
All that you need to do is to close and reopen the Read/Write map.
This will cause new locations to be drawn.
Removing locations is still a manual process.
Location.conf has no effect on deletion of locations.
Think of it similar to the seedfile.
The seedfile controls what is drawn but will not cause any nodes to be
deleted.

NetView 6.0.2 AIX 4.3

When changes are made to the location.conf file (additions) what daemons
need to be restarted to make the changed take effect?

Thanks,

Scott Bursik
