You don't need nvlockd unless you are using gtmd and xxmap.
If not then you can just de-register it with ovdelobj
/usr/OV/lrf/nvlockd.lrf
If you do need it, then I woudl check to make sure that there is not
another old copy of it running somewhere (use ps -ef | grep nvlockd)
If all else fails, call Support.

Hi Netviewers,
i have setup an new box with AIX 4.3.3 and Netview V6.02 .
After the installation all daemons were up and running ; only nvlockd does
not start !
The GUI is running and all seems to work quite fine.....
Any sugestions???
