The Event Attribute cube is about attributes of the trap, not attributes of
the
node in question. You can use either the Query Database Field cube or the
Query Smartset cube to check on attributes of the node referenced in some
part of the event.

Subject: [NV-L] Ruleset & nvdbimport question.
Hello Everyone.
NV 6.0.2 on AIX 4.3.3.
I used the examples in the /usr/OV/conf/nvdbtools to create an OVW field
called "isImportantNode". I have set the value on all of our Unix server
objects. I then created a Smartset of hosts with this field set to TRUE.
So now I want to create a ruleset to forward only node or interface down
events for these Unix servers to TEC. Is there a way to add the
"isImportantNode" OVW field to the Event Attributes ruleset node? Should I
just use the Query Smartset node and set the Object ID Source to 2?
Thanks in advance.
