Santosh, you seem to be experiencing every conceivable performance
problem. Can you tell us what kind of box this is running on, cpu power,
number of users, how much memory, and number of objects in the database?
To see the number of objects, do 'ovobjprint -S'. Is anything else besides
Netview running on this box? What kind of network adapter is it?

Note that poor name resolution will also affect the events application in
a big way. Are you using a DNS?

Cordially,

Hi,

I have NetView 6.0.1 on AIX 4.3.3.
Observed that the Events on Control desk stop some times, and does not get
started unless I restart the NetView daemons ( ovstop & ovstart ).

Can U pls advice.

Regards,
Santosh
