Simply, No.
NetView/NT does not have Agent Policy Manager (C5d) or the smconfig
application.
An MLM in a NetView/NT only environment can only manage the subnet that it
is installed on.
I have had people tell me that they have successfully configured an MLM to
do more.
The way that they configured the MLM in a NetView/NT only environment was to
use the MIB Browser (Set) or
script a lot of snmpset commands. It can be done, but, that's a very hard
way to go !!!
My Recommendation:
Use NetView/Unix for the central manager if you need to implement MLMs.
