In the Event Configuration dialog for the event in question, open the 'T/EC
Slot Mapping'
dialog and add, delete, or change any slot you want.

Hi All,

    I would like to find out about changing the status=CLOSED slot that
NetView sends to TEC.

The 1st event below has a different sub_origin IP number than the 2nd, so
it isn't the same problem. This is why I need either the event to arrive
without the status=CLOSED or the 3 sets of extraneous numbers in sub_origin
removed. I changed the definitions in TEC to not compare on the sub_origin
field due to the changing value of the 1st set of extraneous numbers, but
the origin and name field aren't enough to handle the match. The below
examples match on the hostname and origin fields, but they have a different
sub_origin IP value.

Is there a simple way in netview to change the status=CLOSED to
status=OPEN..
