AIX 4.3.3 Netview 6.0.2 Framework 3.7.1

I am running into problems changing the hostname..On the 6.0 release notes pg 
43 Step 11.

I keep getting "Usage: can not find -g in Repository" after I execute the third 
command (starts with idlattr) 

any ideas as to why?
