My cache was fine, I had to open a PMR and I
ended up having to do a restore. We created a test map and it came up but
with limited amount of devices. Some how my database got corrupted. Good

Dave,
I sent this to the list, but just in case it doesn't make it.
Regards,
Kevin.

Dave,
I had this same problem this week.
Check your "Number of objects to hold in cache" for the ovwdb daemon.
I increased the number a few thousand and that cured the problem.
Just another thing to check...
Cheers,
Kevin.

Subject: [NV-L] Netview Initializing
Hi All,
Im running AIX 4.3.3 with Netview 6.02. When starting netview I
get the Tivoli NetView window which is blank and it says initializing at
the bottom. Any clues as to why it won't come up all the way. All daemons
are running and there is nothing the the NV6000.log... Thanks, Dave
