Well, think about it.
nvsniffer is checking all active ports on all boxes in your network and
trying to logon to them in order to determine what service is running.
This is just a guess, but I'll bet he's the source of your logon attempts
in the CRM log.
I don't do nvsniffer but I believe you can configure him to skip certain
boxes or ports if I am not mistaken. Details are in his conf file as I
remember.
