Cristina,
here I can see no problem. The ovtopodump outputs looks quite normal.
I think the easiest way is to delete theses hosts and let them rediscover.
But maybe there is another guy here who has seen this before.
Kind regards

Cristina,
there are also a lot of other fields missing. Like "isSNMPSupported", "TopM
Interface List" ...
Do you have a "Duplicate IP Address" problem?
What is the output of:
ovtopodump -rl sapa1e1
nvgethost sapa1e1 | awk '{print $3}' | xargs ovtopodump
Kind regards

Asunto: Re: [NV-L] Ping option disable in several nodes
Cristina,
the Action for the menu item "Ping" is defined in
/usr/OV/registration/C/ovip/ NNM-IP.tbl
as follows:
Action 'ping' {
MinSelected 1 ;
MaxSelected 5 ;
SelectionRule ((isNode || isInterface) && isIP);
}
The selection rule must match with the fields of your object
in order to access the Ping menu item from the GUI.
I think for some reason it doesn't match.
Why?
No guess without seeing the complete object information.
Kind regards

Discussion
Hi list,
I`ve got a problem with pings in netview 6.0 sun solaris. The Test -> ping
option is disabled for a few nodes. All of this nodes have one or more
interfaces unmanaged, is it related to ping option? I think it isn`t. Does
anybody know how can I ping this nodes from the Netview interface?
Thanks for any help.
Cristina Alvarez.
