The SIA agent was withdrawn by Tivoli in 1998 with the advent of NetView
Version 5.0.
It is not maintained, nor updated, nor tested, nor shipped, by Tivoli. It
may work with AIX 4.3.3 or it may not.
In any case, you are on your own.
Here is part of a notice I posted on this forum at that time. You can try
the link if you want.
The System Information Agent, SIA, will work just fine with NetView V5.
Since SIA is being discontinued in favor of Sentry, however, code support
for it ended 12/31/97. Currently it is available "as is", Version 2.3.1
with its latest PTFs already applied, free. Anyone who wants it can
download it from
ftp://ftp.tivoli.com/support/SIA or so I m told.

Could any one tell me where I could find the SIA code or installation
images ? I have NetView 6.0.2 for AIX running on AIX 4.3.3. Does MLM
contain SIA code for an AIX box ?
