The number of events from the past that you see in the event log is
configurable. /usr/OV/app-defaults/Nvevents is the file for the config
setting. 

To see all events in your event log (i.e. things in your
/usr/OV/log/ovevent.log) , there is a separate command that has the
word "history" in it available from teh pull-down menus to see all
those.  I'm afraid I don't have a GUI handy to look though.
