This could be normal. If you are talking about symbols for the same device
(say a router) in different views (say subnets), then the status of that
symbol
is from the point of view of that subnet. Blue means managed but unknown,
that is, nothing is contributing to the status in that particular subnet.
So if you
have unmanaged an interface, the symbol for the router in that subnet will
be
blue. When you unmanage/manage the router, all interfaces become managed,
so the symbol gets the status of that interface.
It is a good idea to drill down and check the contributor.
Sometimes this happens when the subnet or segment is unmanaged, and
managing that will clear it up. Sometimes it happens when the interface has
been lost somehow. In those cases there are messages in the nettl log.
(See the man page for the netfmt command). And sometimes it just happens.
If you have all of those fixes on, you should only be seeing legitimate
blue
ones in the IP topology. You might still see some odd ones in smartsets.

Hello all,
I have Netview 6.0.2 on Solaris 8 and this e-fixes
IPMAP, IY17533, IY15764, IY20081, IY21527
In some maps I have icons in blue and in other are green, if in the blue I
issue "Unmanage" and "Manage"
they become green again.
Any suggestions?.
Regards, John.
