Hello Everyone.
NV 6.0.2 on AIX 4.3.3.10
I'm receiving an unknown trap from an HP ProCurve 2524 switch model J4813A.
Here's the trap:
Enterprise hp (1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.12.1) generic trap:6 specific trap: 5
with 4 arguments
1) private.enterprises.11.2.14.11.1.7.2.1.4.2404 (Integer): 3
2) private.enterprises.11.2.14.11.1.7.2.1.5.2404 (Integer): 2
3) private.enterprises.11.2.14.11.1.7.2.1.6.2404 (Integer): 3
4) private.enterprises.11.2.14.11.1.7.3.0.2404 (OctetString):
http://a.b.c.d/cgi/fDetail?index=2404
I can access the URL in the 4th argument but a user ID is required to view
the page.
I suspect the trap definitions are in the hpicfOid.mib. However, I cannot
load the mib file. And both the xnmloadmib2 and mib2trap complain of
problems but report different lines of the file.
Has anyone successfully loaded the hpicfOid.mib (SNMPV2) file.
Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions.
Happy Holidays
