You cannot merge, but you can replace, so long as you replace in pairs
(snmpmib and snmpmib.bin for the V1loader/browser; snmpv2mib and
snmpv2mib.bin for the V2).
Just save off your old ones and then replace the new ones with them after
7.1 is installed.

Hello Everyone.

Currently NV 6.0.3 for UNIX going to 7.1 for UNIX.

I want to perform a "Fresh Installation" of NetView 7.1 but I want to
preserve the existing MIB configuration. Is there a way to merge my old
/usr/OV/conf/snmpmib, snmpmib.bin, snmpv2mib and snmpv2mib.bin files with
the newly installed files?

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance
