Scott,

It sounds like you have global acknowledge active and multiple NetView guis
up. With a large database, there can be just enough of a delay in the
ack/unack updates propagating from gui to gui that they all start feeding
events back to each other in a loop. This is fixed in IY25469. Open a pmr
with supoort and request the efix for IY25810. It contains the IY25469 fix
as well.

NetView 6.0.3 AIX 4.3.3


I was looking at the trapd.log and I see that there are 61833 of the
following message. Does anyone know what this means?


1020278180 7  Wed May 01 13:36:20 2002 pbsxsn00001.fritolay.pvt  T default:
Acknowledged 1182535

The message is exactly the same over and over with the exception of the
time stamp.
