I think you meant to say "you can't do it yourself" since jetty
renamed a lot (all?) of their classes from the release we shipped
prior to 7.1.2 (3.0.something) to the 3.1.7 release in 7.1.2, 
so if you upgrade yourself you'll get class-not-found's on the 
code that references old jetty classes.
