trapd.log will appear under \usr\ov\log on NT as well, but only if you
first configure trapd to keep a log. By default, he does not. Use Server
Setup to configure him to keep a log by checking the "Log Events and
Traps" box under the Trap Daemon.

You can change an event on NT to "Log Only" by using the Trap Settings
task, that you can invoke from the Events Browser, the NetView GUI, or
from Start --> Programs --> Tivoli NetView --> Tasks, by changing the
Event Category to "Only Log Event" . But as events on NT are all kept in
a relational database, they will still be retrievable in the Event
Browser. To see them select "Custom Filter" in the pull-down (which
defaults to "All events") and when the Filter dialog pops up, expand it to
you can see the category box. By default all categories except "Log Only"
are shown.

If you want more than one Event Browser window open at a time, just start
another one. You can have different filters active in each.

List,

Under AIX trapd.log is located in /usr/OV/log, but under NT I cannot seem
to
find this file, does it exist?

ON AIX I often just log traps without displaying, does this type of option
exist on NT.
