In NetView 7.1.2 user passwords in NetViewRalm.properites are encrypted. So
if you edited that file and added the usernames and passwords manually, you
might have some problems.
Did you edit the user file manually or used WebConsoleSecurity application
to do that?

Hi List.
Netview 7.1.2 on AIX 4.3.3
Recently we made an upgrade from Netview 7.1.1 to Netview 7.1.2, the
upgrade was good, but when we try to connect to the Netview Server from the
Netview Web Console, we had problems, because the web console didn't
recognize the users created, we create new users, new roles, and new
scopes, and try again to connect but the problem persists.
Somebody may help us!
