you can read the product manual at http://www.tivoli.com/support/public/Prodman/public_manuals/td/ITSA1/SC23-4830-00/en_US/PDF/SC23-4830-00.pdf See chapter 2 about getting devices recognized as switches. Switch Analyzer is not tied to particular vendors. The device must support the MIB you specified. The devices's OID must be in some specific configuration files as told in Chapter 2. This lets you extend the solution to any vendor that supports the proper MIB.
